I would like to welcome you to Nowra Public School community and take this opportunity to encourage your involvement within the school.

The P&C aim is to “promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close co-operation”. It is also to “assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and in promoting the students at the school”. 

The P&C is comprised of a small and energetic group of parents who assist in many different ways. These include the day to day management of the Canteen, Uniform Shop and involvement in fundraising, social activities and working bees.

The P&C meets regularly on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6.30pm. Parents are invited to take the opportunity in any one or a number of ways to help in the school depending on your interests and/or availability. Children benefit greatly from your involvement; they love to see you helping at their school in some way and you get the satisfaction of joining a vibrant school community and making new friends. Fundraising is an important aspect of parental involvement in the school and greatly assists with the provision of up-to-date resources and facilities in the school. The P&C coordinates the fundraising activities of the school and greatly appreciates any new ideas or assistance that you may be able to provide. Any suggestion is greatly welcomed and your support in these events ensures the ongoing success of our efforts to provide what is needed within the school.
